Nowadays, online retailers start preparing your parcel as soon as they receive the order. They then pass this on to La Poste, and we take care of delivery. Almost 95% of parcels now arrive at their destination in just two days and, depending on where they've been shipped from, can even be delivered the next day by the evening mail carrier. And it doesn’t stop there : La Poste is still working to improve delivery times for parcels sent from France and Europe, as well as small international packages coming from China and elsewhere.
Personalising the service is another reason that it works so well ; offering the buyer a choice of delivery options, dates and times means they can get their parcel more quickly. A standard letterbox delivery is often the simplest option (and also means the recipient can return incorrect or faulty items), but pickup lockers are also available (open 7 days a week). Parcels which need to be signed for can be collected from post offices or pickup points. You can even choose a day and time slot to have them delivered to your door.
