The Board of Directors of La Poste is composed of 24 members (13 men and 11 women). It defines the Group's general policy and business orientations. Its main responsibilities include defining the Group's strategic orientations, approving the annual and half-yearly financial statements, authorizing acquisitions and disposals, and major investment programs.

La Poste's Board of Directors includes specialised committees to assist it in examining specific issues. These are the Audit Committee, the Quality and Sustainable Development Committee, the Compensation and Governance Committee and the Strategy and Investment Committee.
The audit committee
Comprising five members of the Board of Directors, the Committee met four times in 2014. Its work focused in particular on accounts closure, internal control and mapping of Business Unit and Group risks.
The quality and sustainable development committee
Comprising seven members of the Board of Directors, the Committee met five times in 2014. Quality-of-service monitoring has been enhanced by the new themes of digital technology and corporate customers. The Work/Life Mediator presented her first annual report to the committee. The processing of claims within the Group was the subject of a special committee meeting in November 2014.
The Compensation and Governance Committee
Comprising five members of the Board of Directors, the Committee met twice in 2014. It conducted a first examination of the management of key positions and the potential of Le Groupe La Poste.
Strategic and Investment Committee
Comprising eight members of the Board of Directors, the Committee met six times in 2014. The committee's work consisted of drawing up the Group's "La Poste 2020: Conquering the Future" strategic plan and its financial business plan. It also reviewed external acquisitions made in recent years.
