La Poste opens an examination site in La Gacilly and increases the capacity of the Quimper site: measures that make it easier for Breton applicants to take their driving theory test.
La Poste – which received government approval on 23 May 2016 – provides premises for candidates to take their driving theory exam close to home.
Tests are organised in groups (up to 18 candidates) or individually (for which candidates are alone in dedicated spaces) at a government-defined price of €30.
A group site in La Gacilly (Morbihan)
La Gacilly is La Poste’s 28th group site in Brittany
Independent candidates and driving schools can now register on www.lecode.laposte.fr to collectively take the driving theory test at the La Gacilly postal delivery platform on Rue des Echanges.
The first sessions are scheduled for Wednesday 25 July 2018.
More places in Quimper (Finistère)
To meet demand, La Poste driving theory examination centre, at 32 Rue du President Sadate in Quimper, has been offering an additional ten spaces a day since the end of June.
The site previously held two sessions a day from Tuesday to Friday, of ten candidates each, one at 10am and the other at 3pm. From 26 June, the capacity per session will be increased to 15 people.
The group site, which opened two years ago, in July 2016, has already welcomed more than 6,000 candidates. It is one of the 12 La Poste theory test examination sites in the department of Finistère (six group sites and six individual sites).
