Greater Paris Metropolis : La Poste at the centre of five projects

On 1 February, Le Groupe La Poste assembled almost 80 partners and elected officials at the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris. As a member of five of the winning teams in the “Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris” call for projects, it wanted to make known its strong commitment to this important programme for the Greater Paris region.

Le Groupe La Poste, a member of five of the winning teams in the “Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris” call for projects, invited partners and elected officials to the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris on 1 February, for an exhibition on the work achieved for Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris.

Scalable and tailored proposals, developed locally

A multi-purpose counter will be established in each block as a rallying point. available 24 hours a day via digital access, it will be shared between residents, businesses, retailers and residents. It will provide turnkey solutions for travel and recycling and strengthen links with local businesses. It will also boost co-working spaces. 

By combining services, local logistics and digital, Le Groupe La Poste is providing a new range of services to make life easier for everyone, every day, with scalable and tailored proposals, developed locally and backed by innovative and long-term expertise.

La Poste is currently a member of five of the winning teams in the “Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris” call for projects :

  • Evry (Essonne), with Linkcity: Vita Vitae will be built in several phases. The first 5,000 sq. m phase will be delivered in 2019 and provide a tertiary hub focused on research and shared offices linked to Génopôle. La Poste will provide a multi-purpose counter, a mobility hub connected to the nearby station and connected services. - Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine) with Nacarat (Rabeau-Dutilleul Ile-de-France): “À la Croisée des S[Cé]Ens” offers a complete reinterpretation of the heart of the town of Sceaux, including a training programme, housing and shops over an area of 10,000 sq. m. La Poste will provide a multi-purpose counter, connected services and postal services.

  • Thiais-Pont de Rungis (Val-de-Marne), with Linkcity (lot 3 with Vinci): “Parc en Seine” will occupy a 55-acre site near an existing station, which will be moved slightly. It will be a mixed program focused on housing and leisure on the one hand and urban facilities for unique digital innovations on the other. La Poste will offer services combining multi-purpose counters, connected solutions and postal services.

  • Villiers-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne), with the Compagnie de Phalsbourg: “Balcon sur Paris” is a 120,000 sq. m mixed project. La Poste will contribute a multi-purpose counter opposite the station, solutions to facilitate travel, postal services, connected services and a link with urban agriculture.

  • Vitry-les-Ardoines (Val-de-Marne), with Linkcity (new station at the heart of the project): “Démonstrateur Métropolitain” is a 140,000 sq. m mainly tertiary and commercial project, with a significant “innovation” link. La Poste will contribute a multi-purpose counter opposite the station, mobility solutions, postal services and connected services to #SimplifyLife for all local residents.
